Easter Weekend

Over Easter weekend we headed to the coast with my family. Kara, Eric and Annika were up north for a couple weeks so we all decided to go to Monterey for a few days. I must say that it wasn't our most relaxing trip ever, with 2 babies, a 2 1/2 year old, 6 adults and 3 bedrooms it made for an interesting weekend. At least Nana and Papa were able to sleep well at night. However, it is always beautiful there and to be out of our house and spending time with family was worth it. Here are a few pictures from our weekend.
Uncle Kevin holding Annika for the first time.
Morgan's first Ritz cracker. She loved it, and ate 2 more! I made my mom feed it to her so I didn't have to worry about her choking. You think I'd be over that with my second baby.
On Saturday we left Morgan with Nana and Papa and took Ethan to the aquarium. It was so fun to just focus on Ethan for a few hours and have lots of fun together. I think he remembered parts of the aquarium from our previous visit. The first thing he wanted to see was the sea otters. He is hugging a statue of a sea otter in this picture.
This is a picture of a sea dragon. They just opened up a sea horse exhibit in the aquarium. It was amazing to see the different sea horses and sea dragons. What a creative God we have!
Mommy and Ethan by the sea horse exhibit. One of the most fascinating facts I learned was that sea horse males get pregnant and carry the babies. Now there's an idea!
Morgan loved Annika and would break into a big smile whenever she saw her. She also loved trying to kiss her. Annika wasn't always to sure about all the love from cousin.
Headed to the beach on our last morning. It was really cold there all weekend.
The cousins on the beach.
Ethan is getting quite agile on the rocks. He climbed on top of this one all by himself!
