It's hard to believe the school year is off to a start again. We have a third grader, a first grader and two preschoolers. I now have 6 hours to myself a week! I have lots of plans of how I will fill my time:)
Sisters, ready for the first day.
The four kiddos super excited to go. Our school now requires polos for all the students. It sure makes dressing in the morning real easy, but I already had my first day of, oh wow, I need to do laundry today or my kids won't have clean shirts tomorrow!
Our big third grader! It is hard to believe Ethan is in the third grade. I loved teaching third grade, so I'm praying that he has a great year. He seems off to a great start.
This sweet girl is in first grade. She has the same teacher Ethan did and I think she is going to do great!
Hudson is super ready for preschool. He had a good first week and is singing all the songs already!
Brooky was ready too. She and Hudson both gave me a lot of details about their first few days.
All ready to go!
Daddy had to be at school early so he missed our first day pictures at home, but we snagged one at school. Kevin has a new position at school this year as well! Lots of changes for us this year.
It's so fun to hear these two talk about their school day. I think I'm going to get a lot more details between the two of them then I ever have from my older two. That should be fun as they grow older!
I am really excited for my kids this year. They are all growing up, becoming independent and are so much fun. The opening assembly at our school was great this year. The school theme is from Psalm 119: 10-11." I seek you with all my heart, do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." I love these verses and I was challenged by my sister to spend some time in Psalm 119 and it is a pretty powerful passage. I have been loving my time there in the mornings.
Here's to another school year!!!
