"BACKETAH"

One of Ethan's favorite words right now is "backetah"...translation: basketball. Kevin has been coaching the JV team since October. Ethan and I usually make it to his home games. Ethan loves to visit daddy before the game starts and play with the basketballs. He would love even more to throw the ball on the court and play with the guys. He usually does pretty good during the game if he can run around during half time.

Kevin has a great team this year. He had these guys last year when they were freshmen as well. They are a great group of guys so Kevin was excited to move up with them. They only have 7 guys on their team but they have a lot of energy and spirit. It has been a great season. So far their record is 18-7. They have their last game on Friday against the crosstown rivals.

I am glad that you left out the picutre of Kevin insulting the ref. and throwing a chair across the floor...no one needs to see that. Also, Kevin should not physically hit his players anymore because, I think that may be illegal.?. I bet that even though basketball is cool and fun it is always nice to be done with a long season.

Nice post.

AAAHHHHHhahahaha!!! I love blogs!!! When I am reading them I have a big grin on my face in anticipation of what John or Kev will say...I am never let down! (Except for when Kevin was mysteriously absent for like three months because he was doing something else...not Lyndsay, stupid! coaching basketball!) Sorry, that just leaped into the fingers and I had to leave it, just for John's sake.

Anyways, on to basketball...18-7 huh!? That's good man! Does that take into account all the times you guys played the RCS girls JV team? jk That is seriously good bro with 7 guys. Lonely bench, huh? Ethan is always ready in the wings as a special weapon. Maybe he could run on the court at half and have a backetah 'accident' at a strategic spot on the floor for the other team to find? That might go over a little better than the chair throwing and headbutting players as John suggests. Although its always fun to pull a Bobby Knight once in awhile (on the road though so the ol' wifey and son don't get embarrassed)

Did you see that hit on Zednick?! Hahaha and the ensuing path of blood to the bench?! So awesome!

Oops, almost forgot this was Lyndsay's blog...I'm so glad he is alright and the medical staff was able to save him! That was SCARY. So, what color do you want to paint the bathroom and what flowers should we buy for the backyard?! Ahahaha jk Lynds! Have a great weekend!
