Last Monday Kevin had off school for "spring day". We're still not sure what that means, but we took advantage of it anyways. We decided that instead of just hanging out around home we would take a day trip up to Yosemite. It was so great to see the falls in the spring. They were beautiful and really full! Ethan enjoyed seeing the waterfalls and just being outside picking up sticks and throwing rocks. It was a lot of driving for one day, so I'm not sure we'll do it again real soon, but it was fun to try once!

We went as close to Bridal Vail as you could get and we got soaked! It was too wet up there to get the camera out, so no pictures of the falls up close.

El Capitan. People rock climb the face of this massive rock and actually spend the night suspended in tents...crazy!
Yosemite is one of the most beautiful places in creation to see. It was great to spend even a few hours there.

Awesome pictures and Ethan looks like he loved it as well. It looks like he may have just smashed his junk on that log he is sitting on. I know that face and have made it myself before.
Ahahaha! Actually, I have seen John make that face before...it's hilarious. When they were house sitting and we were playing pool...he got one right in the jewels. Good times.
Yosemite is always nice...except in the summer when its like Disneyland in the mountains and there's as many people floatin' the river as live in Merced.
I was a little disappointed with Bridal veil too...Brenda said if you starred at it for 10 seconds you would get married. It didn't work {ahem} still waiting on that superstition.
Any "new" toy = a happy day in a boys life. It could be a rubber tire for all we care...still loads of fun! Hot wheels rule though. Hope you guys are staying out of the heat and have a relaxing summer break! When is Kev done?
