Monterey a second time

Last weekend we headed over to Monterey again. This time we spent the weekend with my parents, sister and brother in law. It was especially great to see Kara and Eric again. It was the first time we'd seen them since their big news that they'll be mommy and daddy in January. It was fun to talk "baby" with Kara. I can't wait to be an auntie!

We did a lot of hanging out and walking around the neighborhood and to the beach. It was a really chilly weekend so we didn't do too much beach playing this time. We also had the first of a couple birthday celebrations for Ethan. I'll write more of that in another post.

My parents got Ethan a new golf club for his birthday. It is a real golf club with a special training grip...my dad is starting him young! He has been playing with it a lot at home and actually holds the grip almost right most of the time. The funniest thing is that he usually decides to count to 10 before each swing. Even if he misses the ball he starts all over with his counting. I think he counted to 10 about 20 times the other night. It's pretty cute.

Auntie, Ethan and Uncle Eric.

Right now Kevin is headed to the airport to pick up his mom. She'll be here for a week and will be watching Ethan for 2 nights so we can get away....to Monterey again:)
