On Friday, August 22 we welcomed Morgan Rae into our family. She weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz and is 20 3/4 inches long. I was scheduled to go in for a c-section at 2:00, but I was bumped back, so after waiting around too long I went in at 4:00 and Morgan was born at 4:17. It was such a joy to be able to hear the doctors talk about taking her out and then announce that we had a little girl. With Ethan I was not very coherent during the surgery so I don't remember much. I loved being able to hear her cries, watch them clean her off and see Morgan for the first time with Kevin. She is a beautiful little girl. I came home Monday early afternoon and now we are busy getting adjusted to TWO kiddos. Ethan LOVES Morgan...a little too much at times. We're working on being gentle:)

Those pictures are so cute and it almost makes me want to have a kid to, but I think visiting you guys is cheaper so I will do that. Kevin looks well considering I expected him to be passed out on the floor during the delivery. We will be up there to see you soon and I guess someone has taken our sleeping area so we will make other arrangements.

What a doll!! Congratulations, I am really happy for you guys. I'm sure Ethan will be a great big brother-- even when they get a little sibling and they are 3 or 4 years older than Ethan they have a hard time with being a little "too loving" ;)
Congrats Kevin and Lyndsay! She is so beautiful! I am so proud and happy for you guys! I can't wait to meet her in the near future! Sorry I didn't respond right away...I was finishing up my internship at the hospital and then went backpacking for 4 days before school started again!
