Last week Kevin and I went to Monterey...again. This time all by ourselves. Mom Schenk graciously came and stayed with Ethan for 2 nights. We hadn't been away without him since last summer, so it was time to have some time for just the 2 of us. Our couple days consisted mostly of sleeping in, taking naps, taking a couple long walks, sitting by the ocean, reading books and watching movies. It was so nice and relaxing! With my very pregnant state we weren't able to do any major hiking or anything. We'll have to try that next time.
Here is the only picture I took. We went out for a nice dinner on Tuesday night. It was a perfect evening for an outside dinner in Carmel.
We had a great time away and I know Ethan had a great time with Oma! Thanks again Mom for coming to stay with him!

You don't have to thank me, I should be thanking you both. It was such a pleasure for me to spend that time with Ethan. He is growing up so quickly, the changes I see from visit to visit are amazing. We are looking forward to our next visit on the 29th. Again thank you and if you need a sitter I'm only a three hour flight away.

I think you may have left one of kevins activites out of the list of things you did. Walks, naps, reading, and the like sound great.. but if I know kevin, wasn't partaking in adault beverages also on the list of activities??? If not it should have been.
