Ethan's plan was to have a baseball party for his end of July party... But with forecasts of 101 degree temps we changed it to a pool party with s'mores for dessert.
For Hudson and Brooklyn's birthday we had one of our babysitters come over and give the girls pedicures and manicures.....
while the boys played mini golf.
Then they all came back to our house for some hot dogs and cupcakes. It was so fun to be able to have both boys and girls together in our backyard. It gives me a little sneak peak into the future having boy/girl twins.... Yikes!!!
Morgan's gift from my parents was a trip to The American Girl store. We got to go on her actual birthday and we had so much fun! What a place and Morgan was thrilled to have a day all about her:)
Then for Morgan's party we had some friends over for pizza and a movie. She is blessed with some sweet friends.
Over Labor Day weekend all my dad's siblings and grandma came out for a west coast reunion. We had such a fun time and made lots of memories!! We even got to take Grandma Great to the aquarium.
Cousins!
My cousin Kristen lives in Southern California so she and her family came up too.
Then there was soccer season. Three out of the four played and I think everyone had fun and learned a lot.
I got to help Morgan and her class celebrate cowboy and cowgirl day. Such a cute and fun day!
We found a fun new place in Livermore to bike. After our 5 mile bike ride we went to a restaurant I downtown. A perfect Saturday get away.
Last Friday the girls got to perform their cheerleading dance and cheers at the football game after three long afternoons of practice. They loved it!

Thanks for posting, Lyndsay! I love seeing what you guys are up to, and seeing the familiar sights and landscapes in the background. I love the picture of the cousins especially. Ethan is so handsome and way too cool for school in that shot. Meanwhile Morgan hams it up. :) The children must have just loved their own birthday parties. What a special time of year, and also an exhausting one for mom. Love Betsy
